The Challenge
The opportunity was to make membership feel more connected, practical and active between major conferences.
AIESEP already had an established international role, but the digital experience needed to do more than hold static information. Members needed clearer ways to connect, share updates, join focused conversations and see value throughout the year. The challenge was to support a global academic community with a platform that felt organised, secure and easy to use.

The Solution
A membership platform brought identity, private collaboration and member communication into one clearer system.
A refined visual identity, membership architecture and private professional network gave AIESEP a more practical year round platform. Activity feeds, private messaging and special interest groups gave members more direct ways to share research, discuss topics and stay involved. Marketing automation supported regular communication, while the structure made the association easier to manage and easier for members to understand.

The Process
The process focused on turning a respected association into a more useful digital community without overcomplicating the member experience.
We reviewed the existing technical structure, content model and membership journey before reorganising the platform around clearer information architecture and practical community features. The work combined design, development, technical audit activity, semantic restructuring and monthly editorial campaigns, helping the platform operate as a long-term communication and engagement channel rather than a one-off website launch.
