The Challenge
An established international association needed to make membership useful during the long periods between major gatherings.
Static information alone could not support the conversations, research exchange and focused interest groups that sustain an academic community. Members needed clear ways to receive updates, message one another and join relevant discussions, while administrators needed a platform that remained organised and secure. The experience also had to feel credible across countries and institutions without becoming cumbersome for occasional users.

The Solution
Membership, private collaboration and association communications were brought into one coherent digital environment.
A refined identity and membership architecture support activity feeds, private messaging, special interest groups and member updates. Those features give academics practical routes to share research and continue conversations outside conferences, while marketing automation supports regular communication from the association. The system presents AIESEP more coherently and gives members a clearer understanding of where different kinds of activity belong.

The Process
Technical structure and member behaviour were reviewed before community features were reorganised.
We audited the existing platform, mapped content and membership journeys and then reshaped the information architecture around common member tasks. Design, development, semantic restructuring and monthly editorial campaigns were coordinated so the platform could function as an ongoing communication channel. The work prioritised understandable navigation and practical administration over adding features that would be difficult for members or the association to sustain.
