The Challenge
The opportunity was to make a complex technical business easier to understand and trust at global scale.
XOCEAN needed a digital presence that could communicate more than vessels and field operations. The site had to explain the data platform, environmental value, fleet capability and commercial relevance for energy partners, investors and future hires. It also needed to move quickly, with clear content architecture and credible technical detail in place ahead of important growth and funding communications. The page structure therefore had to make complex capability legible without simplifying the technical substance that gives XOCEAN credibility.

The Solution
A structured website experience made XOCEAN's technology, fleet and environmental proposition easier to evaluate.
UX architecture, web design, data portal interface direction, brand strategy and technical SEO were brought into one clearer platform. The content system shifted the story from individual vessels to global data capability, with clearer routes into fleet information, carbon impact messaging, recruitment, partner proof and sector specific search visibility. This helped the website speak to different users without splitting the story into disconnected pieces.

The Process
The process prioritised speed, clarity and confidence for high stakes audiences.
Working to a two month timeline, we focused on the decisions that would make the platform useful fast: clear hierarchy, data led visual language, practical explanations of USV capability, GDPR aware technical foundations and SEO around terms connected to hydrographic USV data and offshore wind survey needs. The result was a website better aligned with XOCEAN's scale and the expectations of enterprise, investor and recruitment audiences. The pace of delivery made prioritisation important, so the strongest decisions were those that improved comprehension and confidence quickly.
