The Challenge
Industrial precision meets digital risk. In the manufacturing sector, a slow website isn't just an annoyance; it's a lost contract.
Shannon Coil Springs faced the hidden risks of the digital age: potential security exploits, plugin bloat, and the "slow creep" of performance degradation. The challenge was to professionalise the backend operations, ensuring that when a procurement officer in Berlin searches for a specific compression spring, the site loads instantly and securely, without the client needing to manage a single line of code.
The Solution
We didn't just "maintain" the site; we fortified it with a digital perimeter.
We implemented a Web Application Firewall (WAF) to act as an active shield against malicious traffic, ensuring that the site remains impenetrable to threats. To combat inbox noise, we integrated "Human Presence" technology, a premium spam protection layer that filters out bot traffic before it ever hits the enquiry form. This ensures that every lead landing in the sales inbox is a genuine, high-value commercial opportunity.
The Process
Engineering speed into the server. Speed is a trust signal.
We executed a rigorous performance optimisation protocol, refining code and compressing assets to achieve lightning-fast load times. This ensures that heavy technical datasheets open instantly for engineers in the field, even on low-bandwidth connections. We paired this with proactive uptime monitoring, creating a "self-healing" system that identifies and resolves potential conflicts before they ever impact a user.
