Strategy

The Challenge
Platform change had to create more flexibility while protecting the brand equity, content and search visibility already in place.
The existing Joomla build had reached the natural limits of its original structure as devices, regional needs and publishing requirements evolved. Content was harder to adapt and audiences in Ireland, the UK and Australia required more deliberate routes through recipes, products and store information. The task was not to dismiss the previous platform, but to move valuable material into a more maintainable system with continuity carefully planned.

The Solution
WordPress became the flexible centre for brand stories, recipes, regional content and routes into shopping.
Global planning, interface design, WordPress development, ecommerce integration, technical SEO migration and content architecture were coordinated within one rebuild. Custom structures make recipes and history content easier to manage, while regional routes and store information connect audiences with relevant product actions. The system retains familiar identity cues and gives the team more room to maintain and extend the website without fragmenting the brand story.

The Process
Content and search relationships were mapped before the Joomla database was moved into the new structure.
We audited the database, identified priority pages and planned redirects and regional behaviour before rebuilding the main journeys in WordPress. Design translated the warmth of the physical brand into a responsive interface, while development covered recipe content, regional IP considerations, store locator functionality and shop integration. Technical SEO checks helped important content and search value carry through the migration rather than being treated as a post-launch repair task.
